How we can help your business thrive

How does Novaskill help employers hire apprentices and trainees?

Novaskill helps employers across the Hunter, Newcastle and regional NSW find, employ, pay and keep apprentices and trainees, with one provider managing the whole arrangement. As a Group Training Organisation (GTO) established in 1980, Novaskill employs the apprentice or trainee and places them with your business, so you get the staff member without the paperwork and risk.

We take care of recruitment, interviewing, work health and safety (WHS) training, pre-employment checks and medicals, employment contracts, and contact with TAFE or your chosen training provider. We also cover all payroll-related costs, including leave entitlements, superannuation, workers compensation and tool allowances. To keep things running smoothly, your dedicated field officer is on call for any support you or your apprentice may need.
