Group training is an employment model where Novaskill, a Group Training Organisation (GTO), employs an apprentice or trainee and places them with a host employer for hands-on training.

Your business provides the day-to-day work and on-the-job supervision for the apprentice or trainee.

2. Novaskill employs & supports

Novaskill is the legal employer of record, handling recruitment, payroll, insurance, compliance and field-officer mentoring.

3. They train toward a qualification

The apprentice or trainee earns a wage while working toward a nationally recognised qualification.

Novaskill carries the employer responsibilities so your business does not have to: recruitment and aptitude testing, inductions, pre-employment checks and medicals, training-contract setup and paperwork, work health and safety (WHS) obligations, payroll and leave entitlements, insurance, Work Cover and workers compensation claims, performance management, and ongoing mentoring by a dedicated field officer. The result is quality, continuity and success throughout the entire apprenticeship or traineeship.
